Insurance Questions
What If I Don't Have Insurance?
More and more we see patients with high insurance deductibles, poor insurance coverage, or no coverage at all.. We believe these patients deserve an opportunity to have chiropractic as part of their health care.
We offer several types of payment options for our non-covered patients that allow them to budget for, and afford, the care they need.
On your first visit to our office your charges will never exceed $100.00 regardless of what services are provided (consultation, examination, x-rays, etc). This allows you the opportunity to get an idea if chiropractic can be of help at a reasonable cost.
Charges for services after your first visit will be discussed with you ahead of time so you thoroughly understand. We welcome questions and are committed to providing exceptional care at affordable fees.
Insurance/ Medicare
We participate in almost all insurance plans including Medicare Part B. We will submit directly to your insurance at no charge to you and we will wait for payment from the insurance company on their part.
We submit to your primary insurance company only. If you have a secondary insurance company you want to bill, we will provide you with the appropriate forms (HCFA-1500) to send in after we hear from your primary insurance company.
If you have Medicare we ask that you request automatic crossover benefits through your secondary insurance. This way Medicare will automatically send on claim information to your secondary insurance. If your secondary is not set up for crossover we will provide the forms for you to submit these yourself.
If you are sure of your chiropractic coverage you may fax or drop by with your insurance information. We can then call and find out approximately what your personal coverage is. We realize you may want to understand your coverage before you come to see us.
Our goal is to maximize your insurance reimbursement and help you to understand how your policy works in a Chiropractic setting.
